On 28 October 2022, the Parramatta Marist High school community including the Old Boys Union celebrated 200 years of continuous Catholic education at Parramatta Marist. The celebration was delayed due to the Covid epidemic. The School was established in 1920 and is the oldest Catholic School in Australia and the second oldest school in Australia. The oldest school is Newcastle East Public School, established in 1816.
The event was held in the Morley Centre at the School.
